The Enchanted Mouras are shapeshifters from the Galician and Portuguese folklore, they are the ones who guard the pathways into the underworld and often appear singing and combing their long hair.

When I entered a grotto to summon an Enchanted Moura, I started feeling as if I was underwater and that an aquatic creature that I could not see was swimming around me, whispering and singing in a low tone of voice. "Moira, Moira, Moira, Vem até mim" [Portuguese for "Moura, Moura, Moura, Come to me"] was the mantra I used to summon her and by uttering this over and over, the words seemed to become less coherent and I started entering in a trance.

The Enchanted Moura did not reveal anything to me in that Ritual, but she manifested herself as a mermaid and promised wonderful secrets that were yet to be unveiled.
